VISITOR REGULATIONS - EVENT AI WEEK IN DIGITAL AND ON-SITE OR FULL DIGITAL FORM
IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. ("IA") has adopted the following General Rules and Regulations, applicable to the AI WEEK event in digital and on-site or full digital form, in order to regulate the rules of conduct for Visitors, Journalists and other users (hereinafter, "Interested Parties") accessing (for events in digital and on-site form) the Structures designated for the event, following the registration/accession procedures established through the official event channels, as well as to regulate the terms and conditions relating to the registration and use of the Web Platform (for events in digital and on-site or full digital form).
(A) REGULATION OF THE EVENT/EVENT IN DIGITAL AND ON-SITE FORM
1. ANTI COVID 19 MEASURES
1.1 The Interested Parties shall scrupulously comply with the Anti-Covid 19 Measures and Protocols, and in general with the preventive measures provided for by the regulations in force at the time of access to the facilities designated for the event.
1.2 The user undertakes to ascertain, at the time of access to the event/event, that he/she is not positive for the Covid 19 virus and that he/she has complied with all Anti-Covid 19 Measures and Protocols provided for by current legislation at the time of access to the Event's facilities, premises or offices or to other places in any way related to the Event and/or IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.. The interested party is aware of the criminal sanctions provided for in the event of false and/or mendacious declarations or conduct.
1.3 Participants coming from or having transited through foreign countries undertake to comply with all the Protocols and Security Measures as provided for by the regulations in force, depending on the country of origin, as well as to previously consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, declaring that they have complied with all the compulsory health checks and protocols required and that they have complied with all the procedures provided for, without prejudice to the criminal sanctions referred to in the previous point, in the event of false or misleading declarations or conduct.
2. PROHIBITED BEHAVIOUR
2.1 It is strictly forbidden to sell products inside the Exhibition Centre or in any case on the Event premises. In the event of violations of this requirement, IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. will have the right to request the intervention of the Public Safety Authority, which will take all appropriate measures against the person responsible for the said violation. IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. will have the right to request the return of the entrance ticket issued to the visitor for free circulation inside the Exhibition Centre or in any case in the Event premises.
2.2 Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the Exhibition Centre or in any case on the Event premises. Violation of this requirement shall be punished, pursuant to Art. 51 of Law 3/2003, published in the Official Gazette on 10 January 2005, with an administrative fine of a minimum of € 27.50 and a maximum of € 275.00. Please note that, in compliance with the aforementioned legislation, the aforementioned penalty is doubled if the violation is committed in the presence of a pregnant woman, infants or children up to 12 years of age. Please note that inside the Palazzo dei Congressi / Exhibition Centre or in any case in the Event venues there are designated smoking areas.
3. VISITOR QUALIFICATION AND ADMISSION TICKET
3.1 All Visitors must provide truthful information about their identity and activities when registering. In the event of false declarations, the person concerned shall be liable to prosecution as prescribed by law.
3.2 The admission ticket is strictly personal and non-transferable.
3.3 The admission ticket is valid for one day only, except for special subscription formulas that may be marketed through the official channels of the AI WEEK event.
3.4 Temporary exit from the Exhibition Centre from the Event venues and re-entry on the same day is not permitted, unless otherwise stipulated by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l..
3.5 The entry ticket stamped at the turnstiles cannot be refunded for any reason whatsoever (Art. 74 of Presidential Decree no. 633/1972). The ticket must be kept and shown in the event of a tax inspection whenever requested and until final exit.
3.5 In order to benefit from reduced rates, the categories of visitors concerned must present a valid identification document or proof of activity, issued by the competent authorities.
4. LIABILITY
IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. disclaims all liability with regard to:
damage to property and/or persons inside the Exhibition Centre or in any case in the Event venues, unless the damaging events are the sole responsibility of IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. itself;
misleading and/or deceptive information conveyed through promotional/advertising material distributed by third parties not authorised by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.
IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. does not take on the role of custodian of the goods brought by Visitors into the Event premises, and therefore shall not be liable in any way for any damage and/or theft and/or misappropriation of goods by Visitors.
5. CANCELLATION - EVENT RESCHEDULING
5.1 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule the event scheduled in its calendar.
5.2 In this case, the admission ticket will be reimbursed only in the event of cancellation and/or rescheduling by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. in one of the following forms, duly notified by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. to the Visitor
- by reconfirming the validity of the ticket for the rescheduled event/event;
- by issuing an equivalent entry permit, subject to regulatory provisions;
- by refunding the amount paid in the event of definitive cancellation.
5.3 In the aforementioned cases, IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. shall not be liable in any way for any additional cost, burden, expense, or damage incurred by the Visitor.
5.4 The Visitor also acknowledges that certain facts such as adverse weather conditions, security and public order reasons, force majeure or other factors not attributable to IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. could lead to the cancellation or rescheduling of dates and times of the event/event. IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. accepts no liability in the event of such situations.
5.5 In such cases, reimbursement of the admission ticket will take place, upon communication by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. to the Visitor, either by reconfirming the validity of the ticket for the rescheduled event/event, or by issuing an equivalent admission ticket, subject to regulatory provisions, or by refunding the amount paid in the event of definitive cancellation.
5.6 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. shall not be liable in any way for any additional costs, charges, expenses, damages incurred by the Visitor.
5.7 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. cannot in any way be held liable in the event that the Visitor, for reasons beyond IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.'s control, does not participate in the event/event. No refund or compensation will be due to the Visitor in such cases.
6. PHOTO/VIDEO
6.1 Visitors are expressly forbidden to take photographs and films inside the Exhibition Centre or in any case on the Event premises, unless expressly authorised to do so by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.
6.2 This prohibition includes: photographs and videos taken with any type of equipment (smartphones, tablets, digital video cameras, etc.), as well as drawings or sound recordings. In the event of such infringement, IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. reserves the right to protect copyrights and other related rights in any competent court.
6.3 By entering the Venue or in any case the Event premises, the Interested Party enters a "place of public character".
6.4 In this regard, IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. hereby informs you that, by means of its own personnel and/or specifically appointed professionals, it will proceed to acquire photographic images and/or generic video recordings to document and promote the event/event on its website, on related editorial products and on any other printed and digital information support.
6.5 If the Visitor does not wish to be photographed and/or filmed in a recognisable manner and/or that the minor he/she is accompanying and for whom he/she is responsible is not, he/she shall notify the receptionists, recognisable by means of the appropriate pass, upon entering the Event premises.
6.6 A Visitor who does not explicitly refuse to be photographed and/or filmed shall not be entitled to any remuneration or compensation whatsoever for the use of the aforementioned materials.
6.7 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. does not guarantee the obscuration on online channels of any independent third-party data controllers.
6.8 The Visitor also takes note that all the external and internal areas of the Exhibition Centre, for security reasons, are subject to video surveillance and that the recorded images are processed, as provided for by the Privacy Guarantor, in accordance with the general regulations on the protection of personal data. Said images, in the event of criminal events or events of particular importance in terms of public order and safety, will be made available to the judicial authorities or judicial police, should they so request.
7. DISTRIBUTION AND/OR DISSEMINATION OF PROMOTIONAL/ADVERTISING MATERIALS WITHIN THE EXHIBITION CENTRE
7.1 It is forbidden to distribute and/or disseminate promotional/advertising materials inside the Rimini Palacongressi/ Exhibition Centre or in the event venues.
7.2 Visitors who are caught in the course of such activity shall immediately be deprived of the admission ticket issued for free circulation within the Exhibition Centre.
8. ANIMALS
For each event/event, depending on the merchandise, there is a specific provision regarding access or a ban on dogs as well as animals of any kind, with the exception of dogs for the blind.
9. OTHER BUSINESS
IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. reserves the right to prohibit access or escort out those who do not comply with these regulations.
10. GENERAL PROVISIONS
10.1 These General Regulations of the Visitor, drafted in Italian as the official language, have been structured in accordance with national as well as EU legislation, to which reference must be made for the interpretation of the rules contained within these Regulations.
10.2 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. reserves the right to amend the General Visitor Regulations at any time. An up-to-date copy of the Regulations will be published on all IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. websites for the AI WEEK event and will take effect immediately upon disclosure.
10.3 The terms and conditions of these General Visitor Regulations, brought to the attention of the interested party through publication on the websites of IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. and posting at the entrance to the Exhibition Centre, represent the only contract existing between the Parties.
(B) FURTHER RULES FOR ON-SITE OR FULL DIGITAL EVENTS
GENERAL DEFINITIONS OF ACCESS TO DIGITAL PARTICIPATION
To enable full understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions, the following terms, in the singular and plural, shall have the meanings set out below:
Platform owner: IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.
Web platform: the website owned by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. through which the event is held (in digital and on-site or full digital form).
Products: the goods and/or services provided via the Web Platform by a Participant.
User: any person accessing and using the Web Platform.
Visitor: any person accessing the Event venues
Exhibitor: the natural person or legal entity, other than IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l., that offers the Products through physical presence at the event and/or the Web Platform, acting in the exercise of its commercial, handicraft or professional entrepreneurial activity.
Event: AI Week
Content for the web platform: any textual or multimedia element present such as, but not limited to: advertisements, listings, reviews, texts, logos, videos, images, instant messaging, etc.
11. RULES FOR REGISTERING USERS (VISITORS) TO THE WEB PLATFORM AND WORKSHOPS
11.1 The Web Platform offered by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. enables Exhibitors to get in touch with interested Visitors.
11.2 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. is not a party to the relationship that will be established between Visitors and Exhibitors and assumes no liability arising from the relationship established between them.
11.3 The credentials for access to the Web Platform resulting from the Visitor's registration are personal and non-transferable.
11.4 All Visitors must provide truthful information about their identity and activities when registering. In the event of false declarations, the person concerned shall be liable to prosecution as prescribed by law.
11.5 I authorise the sharing of my personal data with the Sponsors and Partners of the initiative, a list of which can be found at www.aiweek.it. The use of data will be governed by the internal policies on the processing of personal data of the Sponsors and Partners.
12. SAFETY REGULATIONS
12.1 All documents, files, videos, images, etc (only generic and not portraying persons in close-up), uploaded by the Visitor, or whoever on his behalf, must be previously verified free of "computer viruses". To this end, the Visitor, by accepting these rules, assumes responsibility for the fact that the multimedia material uploaded on the platform is free of "computer viruses". The visitor shall be liable to pay compensation for the damage caused in the event of violation of the aforementioned provision.
12.2 Failure to comply with the IT security measures outlined above will also entitle IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. to exclude the Visitor from participating in the event/event.
13. PLATFORM CLOSURE AND PROCESSING OF MULTIMEDIA MATERIALS.
13.1 Closure of the platform will take place at the discretion of IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.
13.2 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. has the right to change the duration, opening and closing dates and daily hours of the Platform. This faculty does not involve IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. in paying the Visitor any overall refunds or compensation of any kind.
14. GUARANTEES, LIABILITY, FORCE MAJEURE, THIRD PARTY SITES, EXCLUSION OF GUARANTEES.
14.1 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. endeavours to ensure that the Web Platform and the display of content, during the days of the digital event, are available 24 hours a day without interruption; however, it shall not be held liable in any way if, for any reason whatsoever, the Web Platform is not accessible and/or operational at any time or for any period of time.
14.2 Access to the Web Platform may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the event of system failure, maintenance, repairs or for reasons entirely beyond the control of IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. or for events of force majeure.
14.3 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. accepts no liability for any fraudulent or illegal use that may be made by third parties of the contents inserted, even by the Visitor, within the Web Platform.
14.4 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. shall not be liable for:
- any loss of business opportunity and any other loss, including indirect loss, that may be suffered by the Visitor;
- incorrect or unsuitable use of the web platform by the visitor
14.5 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. declines all responsibility for false and/or misleading information conveyed through promotional/advertising material from third parties not authorised by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l.
15. LINKING TO THIRD-PARTY SITES
The Web Platform may contain links to third-party sites/applications. IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. does not exercise any control over them and, therefore, is in no way responsible for the contents of these sites/applications. Some of these links may refer to third-party sites/applications that provide services through the Web Platform. In these cases, the general terms and conditions for the use of the website/web platform and for the use of the service provided by the third party shall apply to the individual services, with respect to which IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. accepts no responsibility.
16. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE VISITOR
16.1 The Visitor assumes all responsibility concerning the ownership of rights on trademarks and other distinctive signs, patents, industrial inventions, industrial models, photos, videos as well as on any violation of copyright and personality rights inherent to the contents inserted within his/her virtual space or chat. Therefore, the Visitor releases IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. from any burden and responsibility in the event of violation of the above-mentioned rights and in any case in the event of violation of the laws protecting competition, industrial property and private property rights both with regard to other Users and with regard to third parties in general. 16.2 Any disputes in this regard between Visitors and between Visitors and third parties must therefore be settled directly between them, releasing IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. from any burden and/or responsibility.
16.3 The publication of content (phrases, images, comments, etc.) that contravenes the law, morality and decency is strictly prohibited.
16.4 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. declines all responsibility for the content published by visitors on their personal profile pages or in the sharing and commenting areas of the Web Platform.
17. B2B PROGRAMME
17.1 Meetings requested by the Visitor shall only become effective if also confirmed by the Exhibitor. Please note that until the last moment agendas may be subject to change. There is no limit to the duration of the meeting agreed between Visitor and Exhibitor.
17.2 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. may not be held liable in any way in the event that one or more of the business meetings scheduled on the Platform should fail to take place, nor in the event that negotiations between the Visitor and the Exhibitor should fail to come to a successful conclusion; all relations between the latter must be managed exclusively between them with total exoneration of IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. from any and all responsibility.
18. MULTIMEDIA MATERIAL RELEASE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW
18.1 The Visitor expressly authorises IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. to use images/videos portraying him/her or any other material uploaded by him/her onto the platform.
18.2 IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. may use the said images/videos not only for journalistic and communication purposes, but also for promotional and commercial purposes.
18.3 No use will be made in contexts that are prohibited by law or that undermine decorum and dignity.
18.4 The processing of multimedia materials will be carried out by IA Spiegata Semplice S.r.l. in full compliance with the applicable regulations.
18.5 No remuneration shall be due to the Visitor in respect of such use.
